PWC1 - SME INSTRUMENT PROJECT WRITING CAMP
We are pleased to announce the first in series of 6 one-day Project Writing Camps. The event is aimed at participants from Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) employing below 250 people who are currently involved in preparing proposals under the Horizon 2020 SME Instrument (SMEI), Phase 2.
The principal aim of the event is to develop greater knowledge among SMEs of the EC content requirements in preparing proposals for submission under Horizon 2020 SME Instrument (SMEI).
The content of the event is based on and in-depth analysis of the key aspects that evaluators base their judgement on, supported by coverage of good practice in converting facts and data into winning proposals, writing techniques, the various requirements in ‘standard’ proposal sections and evaluators’ viewpoints on what is good practice to attract higher scores. The training included exercises to review and develop sections of participants’ own proposals through comparison against the notes issued for the event. There were also presentations on Horizon 2020 in general, the SME Instrument in particular – including forthcoming changes – and a presentation on working experience with Turkish SMEs seeking to write proposals for SMEI.
The event will be held at the Limak Ambassadore Hotel, Ankara Hotel on May 2, 2019, commencing with registration 09.00 to 09.30 and ending at 17.00.
Because proposal submissions to the EC must be made in English, the event will also be staged in English, although Turkish speakers will be available.
